Compatible files and processing limits
Try an H.264 MP4 with AAC audio first. MOV and WebM depend on their codecs and your browser. Preview support alone does not guarantee export. Longer or higher-resolution files need more time and memory; resizing can change quality.

From a landscape clip to a vertical post
For a 1920 × 1080 product demonstration, choose 9:16 to get a 1080 × 1920 canvas. The complete demonstration stays centered, with blurred video above and below. This keeps objects at both edges visible, but makes the subject smaller than a crop filling the frame.

Changing shape is different from reducing file size
Aspect ratio describes width relative to height; pixel dimensions describe the output canvas. Neither guarantees a smaller file in megabytes. Use Video Compressor for that task. If you need a silent version, remove the audio before resizing.

Which preset should I choose for social posts?
For Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or another destination, choose the shape required by your post: vertical 9:16, square 1:1, portrait 4:5 or landscape 16:9. Check the upload preview; a platform can offer several post formats.
Is this video resizer free without a watermark?
Yes. You can process and download without an account, generation credits or an added DojoClip watermark.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Processing happens in your browser. The page downloads its processing software, but does not send your selected media to a server.
Can I crop, reposition or change the background?
This tool uses centered fit with a blurred background. It has no manual crop, position, background-color or custom-size controls.
Why can a file preview but fail to export?
Playback and export have different requirements. An unsupported codec, an audio track that cannot be copied into MP4, or limited device memory can stop export. Try a short H.264 MP4 with AAC audio.
Is sound kept if the preview is muted?
The preview starts muted. Export keeps compatible source audio; muting the preview does not remove sound from the downloaded file.
