How to swap faces in a video
- Choose a short video. Use a local file up to 30 seconds and 100 MiB. Trim a longer recording first.
- Find the people. Run detection and check the person cards. Move to another clear frame to find a person who was missed or to improve a reference.
- Assign the replacement faces. Add a clear portrait for each person you want to change. You can map up to 4 people independently; leave the others unassigned.
- Check the assignments. Confirm that each selected person is paired with the intended portrait. The original audio is included automatically when present.
- Export and review the whole clip. Keep the tab open, then play the result from beginning to end before downloading it.
Choose photos that give the model a clear face
Start with a sharp, well-lit portrait containing one visible face, up to 20 MiB. A fairly frontal view is easier to use than a strong profile, sunglasses or a hand over the mouth. Try a short scene with larger faces before processing a busy group shot. A larger output frame does not guarantee sharper facial detail.
Check who changes when people move
In a two-person conversation, assign one portrait to each selected speaker and check the moments when they turn or cross. A detected person is an approximate match, not a guarantee that every later appearance will be recognized. Review cuts, entrances and occlusions, including frames where the original face remains visible.
