Shorten gaps in a tutorial, interview, voice memo or podcast recording. The tool proposes cuts from sound level; you decide which pauses belong in the final edit. It does not distinguish a mistake from a thoughtful pause, and a quiet moment may contain useful picture content.
If quiet word endings disappear, lower the threshold, increase padding or restore that cut. If the result feels rushed, increase the minimum pause or try Natural. Background music can hide pauses; raising the threshold may also cut speech. Short fades smooth audio joins, but cannot repair a poor cut decision.
Removing pauses shortens both picture and sound. For steady hiss around speech, use background noise removal; to choose arbitrary sections yourself, use the audio cutter. Add subtitles after the final timing is set, or explore more free browser tools.

No. It detects low-volume sections, without an AI model or transcription. Spoken “um” or “uh,” repeated sentences and mistakes are not identified by their meaning.
Choose audio or video with a mono or stereo audio track and a codec supported by your browser. There is no fixed duration or file size limit; processing capacity depends on your device and browser.
Threshold sets how quiet a section must be. Minimum pause excludes short gaps. Padding leaves sound around the cut edges. A higher threshold is more aggressive and can include soft speech.
Yes. Disable individual cuts, change their start and end, keep all pauses, or use undo and redo. Reset returns to the detection suggestions. Review the time saved before building the result.
Continuous noise or music can keep the level above the threshold. A high threshold can classify the whole recording as quiet. Adjust settings and listen. If more than 300 cuts are found, increase the minimum pause or shorten the source.
Audio can be exported as WAV or MP3. Video input offers video with audio or audio only. Video is re-encoded at up to 1080p and 30 fps, preferably MP4 with WebM fallback. Only the primary picture and audio tracks are included.
No. It creates the actual edited file, so it can take time. The player and download use that same file. Changing cuts or output settings clears it; build again to hear the new edit.
