How to Use DojoClip Story Music Video: Preview, Continue, and Download

Story Music Video turns a finished song into a music video in two stages: create a 30-second preview, then choose whether to continue with the full song. Planning, images, and animation run automatically. You follow the task’s progress, review the saved preview, and download the finished MP4 when it is ready.

Before you start

You need a signed-in account with paid access and enough credits for generation. The preview uses credits. Review its cost before starting. Your included subscription credits can be used for Story Music Video. Generation is not unlimited. Check the current plan price and included credits before subscribing; you only need extra credits if your balance is insufficient. Regenerations also consume credits.

Use audio and images you own or have permission to use. A clear final mix gives the system better lyrics and timing than an unfinished demo. Instrumental tracks can also be used; give them a clear visual direction.

1. Upload your song and optional characters

Choose the audio file and wait until its upload finishes. The filename becomes the title in history, without the extension and shortened to 20 characters, so rename final_mix_v7.wav to something recognizable first.

Add up to two character images if you want recurring subjects. People, cartoons, and animals are supported. Use one clearly visible character in each image, without heavy blur or obstructions. You can also leave both image slots empty for a video without uploaded characters.

Wait for every upload to finish before starting. A file still uploading is not ready to be used by the task.

2. Choose a visual style and format

Open Choose a visual style. Choose Auto to let the song guide the direction, pick a preset, or choose Custom and describe the look you want. Confirm with Use this style. Selecting a style is required even if you choose Auto.

For a custom direction, describe the setting, palette, medium, and movement. For example:

Rain-soaked city at night. Deep green and amber lighting, reflective streets,
realistic clothing, restrained camera movement, and a hopeful sunrise at the end.
No text on screen. Keep one coherent cinematic style.

Keep the description within 500 characters. Choose 9:16 for vertical feeds or 16:9 for a landscape video before generation starts.

3. Create the preview

Review the preview estimate, available balance, and spending limit, then approve generation with the displayed credit amount. The task appears in history while the system prepares the song, plans scenes, generates images and motion, and saves the preview. For a shorter song, the preview covers the available duration.

These stages progress automatically; you do not need to approve a transcript, storyboard, or individual frame quote. Once the task is saved, you can leave the page and return later. Reopen the existing task from history rather than creating a duplicate because processing is slow.

4. Watch the preview, then decide whether to continue

When the preview is ready, play it with the original song. Check:

• whether the visual style fits the music;
• whether the characters are recognizable and the motion looks usable;
• whether the pacing and framing work in your chosen format.

Download preview saves this preview file. It does not download a completed full-song video.

To make the full video, review the credits already spent, the additional credits needed, and the estimated project total on the same task. Approve the displayed additional credit limit to start full-video generation. Existing usable images and clips are reused. If you do not approve, the saved preview remains available without starting the rest of the song.

5. Wait for the final MP4

After the remaining clips are ready, the system assembles and saves the full video automatically. A ready preview and a completed final video are separate states.

When the final video appears, play it through and use Download to save the MP4. You do not need to export or upload the finished video manually in the browser.

Credits and interrupted tasks

The 30-second preview uses credits, including scene images for the full song and animation for the preview. See the duration-based estimate and approve a spending limit before starting. The full-video total includes the preview; continuing reuses existing usable assets and requires a separate approval for the additional credits.

If the task needs credit approval, your existing progress is saved. Review and approve the additional spending limit before continuing. If your balance is too low, add credits first; buying credits does not authorize a higher limit. Work already within an approved limit may resume once the balance is sufficient. Reopen this task rather than creating another.

If a step fails, read the error and use Retry failed step or Retry full song when offered. A full-song retry preserves the saved preview and continues from the failed work. Follow any credit information shown for the action; do not assume every retry or new generation is free.

If no recovery action is available, contact support with the task title and support reference from the error panel. You do not need to send private source files unless support asks for them.

Quick troubleshooting

• The start button is disabled: check that audio and character uploads are finished and a visual style has been confirmed. Custom style needs nonempty text.
• The song is rejected: check the format, 50 MB size limit, and 3-minute duration limit. If duration cannot be read, export a fresh audio file rather than changing its extension.
• The preview is ready but the full video is missing: continue the full song from the preview card, then wait for final processing and saving.
• The download is missing: make sure you are looking at the final output rather than only the preview. Refresh the existing task if it is still processing; use its recovery action if an error appears.
