How to put emojis on a video
Choose the reaction
Replace the starter 😀 using a preset or paste an emoji. Use Add emoji for another layer; delete unwanted layers with the trash button.
Adjust size and placement
Move the selected box or enter coordinates. Set font size and give the box enough room; text shrinks to fit. Opacity runs from 10–100%.

Example: a short celebration clip
For a six-second cake reveal, choose 🎉 and place it away from the cake and any captions. Play the clip to check that hands do not pass behind it. The emoji is present from the start, so trim to the reveal first if that is the only moment you want to share.

Can I add emojis for free?
Yes. No sign-up or credits are required, and no extra DojoClip watermark is added.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Preview and video encoding run locally. The page may download code or fonts. Download your result before leaving; this tool does not save a cloud project.
Does clicking a preset add another emoji?
A preset changes the selected layer. Add emoji creates a separate reaction you can move independently. Put reactions in separate layers when they need different sizes or positions. Delete the whole layer to remove it.
Why does my pasted emoji look different or not change color?
Its design depends on the browser’s available emoji fonts. Unsupported sequences may appear as boxes or separate symbols. The text-color control may not recolor a multicolored emoji. Check the preview and choose another symbol if needed.
Can an emoji follow a face or appear at a chosen moment?
No. Each layer stays fixed for the full clip, without start/end times, rotation, animation or tracking. A moving face can leave the emoji’s coverage; this is not automatic face hiding.
What limits apply to export?
There is no fixed input file-size or duration cap. Browser decoding, video encoding and memory still limit what can finish. One video exports at a time; no batch processing is provided.
Will viewers see their own device’s emoji design?
The exported MP4 contains the design rendered on your device; playback does not choose the glyph again. Export uses 30 fps and compatible source audio. Re-encoding can change quality, file size and frame rate.
